Clinic Tuition, Room, and Board:

Location: The clinic will be held @ Concordia College in Bronxville, NY. Bronxville is served by multiple parkways, the NY Thruway, and rail service via the Harlem Branch of Metro North and Amtrak. Bronxville is a 25 minute train ride north out of Grand Central Station. Directions & shuttle information

Resident Rate includes all Friday, Saturday, and Sunday classes. Resident students get a minimum of 12 hours professional class instruction, admittance to "Banjo Overdrive" - the Saturday night concert featuring Bill Keith's band: "The Saturday Night Bluegrass Band" plus appearances by many of the banjo instructors - the Friday night jam with the instructors, Friday and Saturday double-occupancy dormitory lodging, and 6 meals (Friday lunch - Sunday breakfast).

Full Commuter Rate includes all the benefits of Residential without Friday and Saturday lodging.

Partial Commuter Rates includes all of the Residential benefits on whatever day you register for, except lodging:

Friday Commuter rate includes lunch and dinner.

Saturday Commuter rate includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Sunday Commuter rate includes breakfast.

Concordia College (NY) employee and on-campus student rate includes the entire clinic except room and board. When sending your check, include a photocopy of your Concordia College ID card.

Students under the age of 18 must be housed with a paying adult; student or chaperone (guest).

Non-student Guest Rates are available for the weekend (Friday & Saturday lodging plus six meals) or per day (Friday with lunch and dinner, Saturday with breakfast, lunch and dinner, or Sunday with breakfast.)

All dormitory rooms are double occupancy. Linen and towels are not provided. Class rooms are air-conditioned, dorm rooms are not.

Optional lodging without meals can be purchased individually for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evening. Meals are only available Friday lunch through Sunday breakfast.

All meals will be served in Concordia's cafeteria. Vegetarian meals are available at no extra charge. (We need to know beforehand if you desire vegetarian food!) The food is good. Cafeteria hours are breakfast: 8-10 am, Lunch: 11-1 pm, and Dinner 4-6 pm.

Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on campus. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas outside of buildings.

There is no charge to be picked up or dropped off at the Bronxville, Yonkers, or New Rochelle Train Stations. There is a $15 fee - each way - to be picked up and dropped off at the Croton-on-Hudson Train Station which is an approximate half hour drive each way.

Banjo setup will be available on Saturday. The fee is $30 per banjo to have your head, neck, intonation, and bridge adjusted by a technician. Please change strings and banjo heads before submitting your instrument to be adjusted. Since you will be without your banjo while it is being worked on, consider bringing a second banjo. Setup will be scheduled on a first come basis as registered.

At discounted rates, we are accepting three (3) non-student (guest) positions for licensed & insured drivers willing to shuttle students and guests back and forth from the Bronxville, Yonkers, New Rochelle, and Croton-on-Hudson Train Stations to Concordia. Drivers must be available Thursday from 6 pm until evening, Friday and Saturday from 6 am through evening, and on Sunday from 6 am until early afternoon or - as required. With the exception of Croton-on-Hudson (which is less than a half hour away), the three closest train stations are 5 to 12 minutes away. You must have a cell phone. Thursday evening through Saturday lodging (plus Friday lunch through Sunday breakfast meals) will be provided.

All Rates Quoted are Per Person.

Guests & non-students: Use Metro Banjo as a convenient, cheap, and safe base for sightseeing, shopping, eating, and having fun in New York City! Downtown Manhattan (Grand Central Station) is less than a half hour away from Bronxville via Metro North's Harlem Branch Express Train. Trains run regularly each way. Round trip train fare is less than $15.00.
It's one of the perks of Metro Banjo.
